Dr Konstantinos Theodoridis

Principal Investigator, Postdoctoral Researcher and Adjunct Lecturer, Department of Communication, Media and Culture, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences

Konstantinos Theodoridis is the Principal Investigator-Postdoctoral Fellow in a research project funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation in the Department of Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. He also teaches in the scientific area “Psychosocial and Consumption of Digital Media”. He has worked in the field “Culture and Society” in the Department of Museology, University of Patras. He completed his PhD in the Department of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) funded by Onassis Foundation. Konstantinos received his BSc and MSc at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a member of the European and the Greek Sociological Association and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).

His research interests focus on the changing nature of consumption as a socio-psychological phenomenon due to social media in an era of uncertainty. He is interested in wider debates about consumer culture, identities, culture and consumer behaviour using research methods in the digital environment. He has participated in international conferences and he has published on these topics in journals and edited volumes.

Dr Kalliopi-Evangelia Stavroulia

Post-Doc Research Associate at Cyprus University of Technology.

Popi has a strong research profile in mixed methods study in Digital Media. She has a PhD in the Use of Virtual Reality Environments in Education from Cyprus University of Technology. She has a MSc in Design and Development of Computer Games and Interactive Technologies and a MA in Educational Studies and a BA in International and European Studies. She has worked as a research associate in research projects such as the Erasmus+ BaSE, the Erasmus+ DIGITALIS with focus on young students, the Horizon 2020 RISE and the Horizon 2020 NOTRE. Popi has a number of high-quality publications and her expertise in the study of digital media will be of particular value to the project.

Technical Lead | .NET Software Engineer I Ph.D. Candidate

Konstantinos Psaraftis is a PhD Candidate at the University of West Attica, actively working as a .Net technical lead for Software Competitiveness International. His research interests lie in the fields of crowdsourcing, truth discovery, and dynamic ridesharing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, combining his academic pursuits with valuable industry experience.
